Mother's Day Activity 2008

       The Xewkija Local Council organized an outing to Malta on the occasion of the Mother's Day 2008.  The activity was held on Tuesday the 6th of May. 

Mothers and their families were invited for this outing.  The group which consisted of 53 persons departed by the 8.15am ferry to Malta.  The group visited the Redeemer devoted Church at Isla and then went to the popular market at Birgu. Afterwards our residents went to a cultural visit at the Limestone Heritage, at Siggiewi.  The group enjoyed this visit which was very informative and interesting.
