FGURA AND LUQA Residents visit Xewkija

      On the 19^th July 2006 and on the 1st August 2006, Fgura Local Council  and Hal Luqa Local Council respectively, organized a cultural tour to Gozo.  Their first stop was at our village Xewkija where they were welcomed by Xewkija Mayor Dr Monica Vella.  They visited the Rotunda Church and the Sculpture Museum and enjoyed the panoramic views from the roof of the church.  The groups visited the Magro Bros. Factory at the Xewkija Industrial Zone.

The Fgura Local Council representative  and Dr Monica Vella exchanged souvenirs for the occasion.
