Puttinu Cares

    An activity was held at Xewkija in aid for Puttinu Cares.  A horse defile and blessing was held on the 8^th of May 2011.  The horse defile commenced from Triq il-Hamrija and marched through Triq Indipendenza to the St John The Baptist Square.  Arc. Mons. Carmelo Mercieca blessed the horses while the Mayor presented trophies to the owners.  Saguna Folk group entertained this activity by traditional music.
